Jared and Lisa are passionate about helping others battling cancer!! We are so proud of them!!!
Jared Bucey is a 17-year-old in Arizona who is battling stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. After becoming violently ill with chemotherapy Jared decided that he did not want to continue. Jared’s mom, Lisa Diacik made the decision that her son could choose how he wanted to heal, she was there to guide him through it. Jared discontinued Chemo and is now doing natural therapies to overcome his cancer. With the help of a Naturopath, his family, supporters and his mom, Jared has a much better quality of life and is making progress!! Jared’s mom has been right by his side and had to quit her job to take care of him and guide him through his protocol and treatments everyday. They are quite a duo and nothing will stand in their way of healing!
We are excited to share our experiences this past weekend as we took a journey to Austin, Texas to receive a donation check from some amazing people (Ty and Charlene Bollinger and family). We were notified after the airing of Episode 1 of The Quest For the Cures…. Continues that Cancer Crackdown would be receiving a portion of proceeds from this series! We were surprised and excited that they chose our organization and are very thankful.
Soy is a very unfortunate story. So many of us have trusted that it’s an excellent source of protein and felt good when choosing soy. Not only is unfermented soy not good for us, it does harm!! Soy is everywhere so it pays to check labels and avoid wherever you can. Various previous reports by a variety of scientist and cancer foundations have encouraged consumption of soy to reduce breast cancer. There has been a great deal of research that completely disproves these claims. Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York’s researchers are now warning women that adding soy to your diet will increase the rate of breast cancer cell spreading
The Chinese did not eat unfermented soybeans as they did other legumes such as lentils because the soybean contains large quantities of natural toxins or “anti nutrients”. A 1998 survey found that the average daily amount of soy protein consumed in Japan was about eight grams for men and seven for women – less than two teaspoons. Americans are consuming amounts far exceeding this quantity. First among the anti-nutrients in soy are potent enzyme inhibitors that block the action of trypsin and other enzymes needed for protein digestion. These inhibitors are large, tightly folded proteins that are not completely deactivated during ordinary cooking. They can produce serious gastric distress, reduced protein digestion and chronic deficiencies in amino acid uptake. In test animals, diets high in trypsin inhibitors cause enlargement and pathological conditions of the pancreas, including cancer.
When you hear the words, “you have cancer”, the world stops, you see the Dr.’s lips moving but you don’t hear anything, you can feel your heart pounding in your throat… you leave remembering only 4 words, “cancer, surgery, chemo & radiation”.
Groundbreaking new research on the cancer-fighting potential of vitamin C has made the pages of the peer-reviewed journal Science Translational Medicine. A team of researchers from the University of Kansas reportedly tested the effects of vitamin C given in high doses intravenously on a group of human subjects and found that it effectively eradicates cancer cells while leaving healthy cells intact.
Building upon earlier research pioneered in the 1970s by the late Linus Pauling, a chemist from Oregon State University who today is recognized as the world’s foremost proponent of therapeutic vitamin C, the new research involved injecting high doses of vitamin C into human ovarian cells. The tests were conducted in vitro in a lab, as well as directly in both mice and a group of 22 human subjects. According to BBC News, the tests showed favorable results in all three models, as the vitamin C effectively targeted the ovarian cancer cells while avoiding healthy cells. The benefits of high-dose vitamin C were also observed in conjunction with conventional chemotherapy treatments, which destroy all cells, both healthy and malignant, eventually leading to patient death. “Patients are looking for safe and low-cost choices in their management of cancer,” stated Dr. Jeanne Drisko, a co-author of the study, to BBC News concerning the findings. “Intravenous vitamin C has that potential based on our basic science research and early clinical data.” Dr. Mark Sircus, Ac., OMD, DM (P)
2-18-2014 A study of 45 peer-reviewed articles published from January 1950 to August 2011 shows that exercisers are less likely to die of their cancers than non-exercisers. In addition, observational studies strongly showed that exercise is associated with reduced death from breast and colon cancers specifically.[1] Those who exercised were also less likely to die from other diseases such as heart attacks. |
